We were impressed by a good number of aspects of our lower level finishing experience through Reality Construction. The plan for creating a finished living space on our lower level was professional and displayed Reality’s obvious experience. Their communication was very good. Nearly every one of their subcontractors did outstanding work and were very pleasant people. The estimate and agreed upon costs never changed. They finished the project on schedule. We hired Reality Construction to remodel our 1960 era kitchen. we wanted a complete overhaul with walls being removed, all new cabinets, new flooring, new countertops, new appliances, and a new laundry/mud room. we had 6 contractors come in and give us estimates. 2 of the companies made us go to their showrooms and sit through their sales pitch. they gave us estimates without ever even coming to our house. we eliminated those 2 right away. from the start, Mike and Gina impressed us with their knowledge of this type of project. Mike was the only proposal that included complete removal of all existing walls so that the new electricity and plumbing would go in without issue and to make sure any old issues in the walls would be addressed. he provided all new insulation and vapor barrier. Mike has been using the same tradesmen for years, and they were all friendly, prompt, and skilled. these guys obviously knew and worked with each other before, making the work a lot smoother. another good thing about Reality Construction is that you sign a contract for a set price and after that, there are no surprises or added costs. they were the only contractor that offered that. the job was scheduled for 12 weeks and even with the large scale of the work and with the coronavirus we were done on time. the final product was exactly as we wanted it and equally important the quality of the work was first rate. we worried about sloppy drywall or bad trim work or bad messy tile work but none of that happened. Having those skilled guys doing the work paid off. what REALITY CONSTRUCTION PROMISED THEY DELIVERED. if you want quality work at a fair price we highly recommend them. if it's one thing we learned after 3 months of construction it's to hire a company that does quality work, doesn't cut corners, doesn't spring surprises on you, and that you feel comfortable working with.

I had gotten three bids for my basement remodel job and Mike was the one rooted in “reality” with his bid. He gave me the price and that’s what I paid except for a couple of change orders which we were expecting. I have heard so many horror stories about remodel jobs gone wrong because of a bad general contractor. I was prepared to have similar issues with mine, but found just the opposite. Mike knows the business, knows how much things are going to cost, and knows how things all fit together. If he doesn’t, he calls in other professionals and presents the facts back. While my basement wasn’t how I had envisioned it with a curved staircase, the end result gave me the feeling I wanted without the engineering nightmare and significant added cost. Mike addressed my queries promptly and if things didn’t look right, Mike came out and addressed the issues. Mike, Gina, Deb, and the rest of the Reality crew are the real deal and I would hire them again without getting additional bids.

Mike and his crews were wonderful to work with and took great care and focus with our basement remodel project. We had the entire basement stripped down to bare concrete and had two new rooms, a living area and a full bathroom added. It looks amazing and was completed within a day of the initial project completion date initially quoted. Very impressive!

My family is very satisfied with Reality Construction on the full kitchen renovation/expansion project. They proposed great ideas and helped us at all stages through construction. They also helped us replace flooring throughout the entire first floor. The quality of work was very good and all the workers/contractors were very professional and friendly.

Reality Construction LLC did a complete remodel on my master bathroom. We had some unique challenges due to timing, occupancy and the overall condition of the house, and Reality worked within all those challenges to give us a beautiful bathroom. They walked me through selections of countertops, tile and fixtures, and what I ended up with was far better than I imagined or expected. They came highly recommended by a friend, and did not disappoint. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Bathroom gut job for my son's home. Mike was organized and communicated well along the way. My son liked that Gina had a computer program that gave you an idea of what the end product will look like. He also liked that they took us "shopping" for material that's within your budget. There were no surprises. He also liked the fact that they used a title company to hold and pay out funds throughout the duration of the project.
